Mind you, I was. I was looking at pictures... for inspiration. And well, reference.
And then I got distracted.
And I started looking at my old drawings.

WHICH REMINDS ME!
I have a new story. (I never seem to run out of new stories.... and I never seem to have any finished stories either. )
Sigh. Anyway!!!

It's called AI NO UTA which means love song in Japanese.
Andddddddddd.
It's not really a story.
I mean, I have two characters for it, but no real... substantial storyline.
But my two characters!
Reika and Aika
Together they form the famous J-pop sensation, HIME.
Ai no Uta is actually a... spin-off? sort of... of Eien No Melody.
It's about the story of two friends as they struggle with the pressures from both their personal lives and their rising stardom in the music industry.
.... and that's about it.
I haven't thought of it much and ironically... I haven't come up with a single twist for it either.
Which is damn well frustrating for someone who loves plot twists. Rawr.
I came up with Ai No Uta when I was working on song... which I haven't finished either. (Hah. No surprises there. T__________T)
The song was supposed to be a duet between two lovers, who found each other on-stage. They're singing their last song together, recollecting their on and off-stage romance and ultimately parting at the end of the song. One twist though: They're still very much in love with each other.

I honestly don't get how a song... a song concept, has more substance than the story I made from it. It even has a twist too. T__________T

Sigh.

I haven't started on any of those projects though. Hopefully I can finish one or two before the break ends. One or two is all I'm hoping for... which is kinda pathetic in itself. And I'm getting distracted again.

Well, currently I'm working on Ciel. She's a standalone character. No story yet. I feel horrible about that. And... well, trying to work on at least, on Nerine... a character created by one of my dear friends, little miss Bells For Her. Hi Vikka!

Sigh. Well. Enough distractions.
Ciel's waiting to be inked and I still have to come up with a nice background for her.
I'll post as soon as I'm done.
Though with me... soon is never... soon enough.
